“We had a brief stay but enjoyed our time at Michele’s. We had what we needed: Big comfy bed, huge TV (which we never used), plenty of hot water with good pressure, coffee, treats, refrigerator and microwave, and a super friendly tortie cat. There was also a black lab who was so eager to play fetch, but our time was limited and she was fenced in (we probably could’ve just gone through a gate). I did play fetch briefly over the fence - one amazingly fast dog. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub……

“My husband and I absolutely loved our stay and fell in love with Washington! This little slice of heaven was nestled away in the countryside and backed up to breathtaking views. “It was like being home. I moved 4 years ago and my home in Battle Ground was almost identical. I rent VRBO’s 6-8 times a year. This was the first that had toothbrushes, toothpaste, anti acids. Feminine products….everything was labeled. Instructions for everything in plain sight. The house was bright and the neighborhood quiet. The owner was quick to respond to anything needed. The location is perfect. If you find yourself in the area, this is a gem. ”

“Had an unplanned layover in Portland while getting repair work done on my Sprinter Van. An employee at Outside Van recommended McMenamins Edgefield and really glad I chose this place. Unique lodging experience and fabulous dinner and breakfast at the pub and restaurant in the main lodge. Much better than staying at a chain hotel! Would have liked to take advantage of the billiards, but didn’t have anyone to play with. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the Portland area!”

“Loved it. Having a dog finding a decent place to stay where they don’t put you in a gross room is hard. Whole place is dog friendly. Staff included. They gave us a doggy welcome gift with poo bags and treats. The park and out door area located behind the facility is amazing. Great place to walk your dog and for kids to play. Place is so clean and the pool area was so nice. Only negative would be it was pretty noisy til pretty late midnight with street traffic. Lots of loud mufflers. I would……
