“Nice quiet place. Beautiful sunrise and sunset. Only downfall kitchen has no oven, but we made use of the charcoal grill provided. Bring your own BBQ tools. We like to cook kitchen lacking great pots, pans and utensils. We made do. Had a nice supply of spices and Harris Teeters is near by. The planes are not a big deal amazing to watch. Loved visiting Grandview. Amazing beach. Lots of wildlife. We would definitely stay again. ”

“The little Bee Haven cottage is spotlessly clean and so well equipped. Beds are comfortable and with a living room and small den, the two of us were very comfortable, as would be a party of four. The area of Virginia where the cottage is located is so beautiful and tho the cottage was not in the middle of activities (which suited us just fine) it was easy to access Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. The front porch is a definite plus as are the crab cakes down the road at the Nuttall Market!”

“The house was clean and tastefully decorated. The photos do not do the house justice. House step up: Four out of the seven bedrooms had their own bathroom. Each bedroom had a queen bed except the larger room that had 2 queen beds and a crib. Each room had a house size closet with a few hangers. There is a washer and dryer upstairs in the hallway. Location: the house is right off and busy bypass. The noise was not too bad. The house sits on a lot with another smaller house that I believe is……

“House was absolutely perfect. Outdoor space was fantastic for our corgi (yard and gated porch) to play. Plenty of room for older kids to spread out into the game barn. Very easy walk to the beach or town. Owners were lovely and very quick and thorough with communication. We’ve loved Cape Charles for years - but this is a new favorite! ”

“This three-story Federal-style home has a delightful view of the York River. The only thing I didn't give five stars to in my review was the property listing, because the photos simply don't do it justice. The rooms are generously spacious, with a deck on both the first and second floors. The entire third floor is one huge bedroom, with two double beds. The second floor has two bedrooms as well as laundry facilities, and EVERY bedroom has its own full bath! We were astonished at how big this……

“Overall, very satisfied with the location. Was close to anything needed and tons of room for people. AC/Heat worked like a charm and all the amenities worked great. The yard was grown over some, but we stayed out of season and chalked it up to that. Only suggestion would be interior door lock chains for that more security feeling, but neighborhood as quiet and nice; so we had no worries.Would stay again. Recommended.”
