“This was our second time at this B & B, and we're glad to be back. We stayed in St. John on our way from Vermont to PEI, and we did the same thing on our return trip. While the outside of this property could use some TLC in the paint department, the inside of this historic building is immaculate and filled with historic charm. Just be aware that you need to go up a flight of stairs to reach the lobby level. BTW, there's always free, fresh coffee available (KEURIG), as well as water. Our room……

“We had a great stay at the Parrsboro Mansion. Our room (Captains) was very big, clean, and came with a private sauna which was a nice surprise! The host family was very nice, provided great service, and a good breakfast. There aren’t many restaurants in the area but that’s no fault of the hosts. Would stay again. ”

“It was great .. gorgeous scenery big yard with large trees. Excellent view from our room. The only thing stopping from rebooking is my spouse may not be able to do the stairs . Thank so much to our host and her breakfast rolls. Photo of the old house tied the whole experience together”

“Beautiful rooms, very clean and very nice space, very comfortable and cozy. We chose a unit with a full kitchen as our stay was a week long and we needed to be able to easily have a relaxed schedule - and options if we chose to stay in. This worked out great! Outside sitting areas were lovely and we could sit out on our front porch! Staff was amazing. Any request was very quickly responded to and completed- it was very wonderful. Thank you all!! I highly recommend The Gingerbread House.”

“Sheets did not fit bed. Hot tub was nice touch. Since breakfast was advertised as included, but not, no where close to get anything. Second day, we drove to Kentville for breakfast. (which was good)”
