“I appreciated the quick response from owners. The house was large with spacious rooms. The house itself needs a little work, a couple of broken trim pieces and a missing cabinet door in the kitchen. All in all though, it worked for our group and we were happy about the stay and the price.”

“An overall beautiful home with lots of room to spread out or gather together. We really enjoyed watching float planes and hanging out in large kitchen. The only negative was not being able to use the decks as the walk down to dock was too steep for the more senior members of our party We would absolutely stay here again in the future”

“We enjoyed an outstanding family week at the lake house! Jean and John are truly delightful hosts - responsive, friendly and relaxed. They clearly wanted us to enjoy their beautiful home, which we surely did. The view from the deck and living areas is beautiful and relaxing. We rented their Land Rover which was a pleasure to drive and good value for the summer high season in AK. A highlight of our stay was flying with John in his float plane right from the house dock! The flight inspired our son……

“Great place for our stay in Anchorage. Everything was clean and worked properly. Owner was very communicative and responsive - a pleasure to work with. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood about 10-15 minutes from downtown. The backyard garden is absolutely stunning and if it had not rained every day we would have definitely spent more time just sitting in the backyard. Highly recommend this place!”
