“Cozy place. The pictures show nice hardwood flooring but it's been changed since then to lvp - no big deal. We made good use of the well-stocked kitchen (replenish the salt btw). The owner helped me out with info about my car rental and remote. Many thanks. Saw a moose on the 2nd day hanging out by the roadside.”

“We travel a lot because we do volunteer work for government land management agencies. This past winter we have been in Anchorage and were fortunate enough to find long-term lodging at this delightful VRBO. It was also a new experience for the hosts as they had not rented long-term before. This location is in the foothills of the Chugach mountains adjacent to the Chugach State Park. “It wasn’t the most fancy place we’ve stayed, but the amazing sunsets and sunrises, daily views of Denali, and the location were perfect! You do need a 4 wheel drive vehicle if coming in winter or spring as the driveway and road leading up to it is steep and icy.”
