“Great location, great view. Kitchen could have used more utensils and kitchen utensils. The bathroom door wouldnt stay on the track and was unlevel so it never closed fully. The front door had to be pushed real hard to fully close. Was difficult to get the temperature in the condonright, it was either too hot or too cold but was provided with a couple space heaters. ”

“House is great for multiple people or multiple families. Plenty of space for everyone to hang out. We had to buy a can opener because the electric one provided did not work. The pot and pans are in rough shape. I would bring your own. I would also bring something to clean tough dishes. They provide a sponge, but no scrubbers. ”

“The cottage is in a great location, cozy, and has everything that’s needed for a great weekend stay. We enjoyed the privacy of the hot tub and the well equipped kitchen. Perfect place for a couple. Very minor little detail missing: an outside table on the deck seating area. ”

“We needed to make last minute plans to come out to the coast. We were looking at hotel rooms until we found this affordable home. It was comfortable and pretty clean. It was a great home base for what we needed to accomplish. We would stay there again. We do wish we had a better beach view, but the short walk was not too bad.”

“The house was clean and had everything we needed, the only minor quibble is that heating is through in-wall heaters that have to be adjusted in each room, but a lot of older houses are like this so it wasn't a huge surpise.The group at Vacasa was great to work with, there was an issue with the hot tub and they got a repair person out while we were still there (although we didn't end up using it). One of our kids did knocked a door off the hinges and they were great when we communicated with……

“I’m pretty picky about cleanliness and Fort Awesome hit the mark. The property was beautiful, and we loved it. Some people noted that the area felt sketchy, and I disagree. We had no problems with security or feeling like we should be worried about it. The hot tub was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was nice as well. I brought my own pots and pans because I’m picky but you could get away with making a couple of meals with what is provided. The view is amazing and this place……

“Nye Haven was great. Clean situated in a great area. Plenty of room, hot water, fresh towels. The place needs a bit of love though. Kind of run down. Pillows and bedding very worn. Needs a good spring clean and a trip to Walmart for fresh bedding and brighter look. Calls for help with the lock and a few other questions were handled promptly and professionally.”
