“As advertised, except for the "walking distance to downtown." It's over a mile, no sidewalks, very hilly bendy road, difficult for cars and the plethora of work trucks to see you. We had some elderly folks planning to stroll into town, but that was a hard no. Maybe ok if you're young and active, but certainly don't plan on safely walking home at night. Otherwise, a pleasant old place. ”

“Our stay here was magical! Communication with David was a breeze from the start. Due to flight times from Florida, we arrived in the evening, but he was there to greet us with his warm smile & friendly demeanor. The cottage is ideal! You will think you stepped into a "Maine Cottages" magazine. It is well equipped, and was capable of hosting our "Lobstah Boil" with 20 guests, a live Jazz Saxophonist & a keyboard player! “Everything about our stay was fantastic. We really enjoyed the views, kayaking on the lake, seeing the stars, and listening to the loons. The only regret was that the room was booked the day before, and the price was doubled compared to booking in advance.
