“The hotel is really old, which probably explains the poor soundproofing. The bedding was also super uncomfortable, so I didn’t sleep well at all. Worse, I woke up with red rashes all over my body. Compared to other hotels nearby, this place is just not worth the price. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it. ”

I loved the Victorian ambience mixed with modern comfort/convenience, and the location was great for everything except walking to the beach with a load of equipment (and even that was still doable). My favorite feature was the 24/7 heated indoor pool -- nothing like a quiet midnight swim! My only gripe was that the staff were only rarely sighted; the place often felt empty. I don't do mornings, so I can't comment on the breakfast experience, but tea time was largely a……

“Beautiful historical hotel with excellent accommodations and staff. Unfortunately area parking is limited, no TVs and shared bathrooms for some units. Additionally no elevator. Breakfast is served for a fee and live music on most days. Beautiful lounges, dining room and porches. Excellent place. ”
