“The property is absolutely breathtaking. The remote location of the home provided us with an unparalleled level of peace that was exactly what we were seeking. Nights at the home provided some of the most quiet moments of my life. The traditional cabin was massive, beautiful, elegantly decorated, and the home was outfitted with all of the modern amenities that one could hope to find in a five-star resort. “Such a lovely old cabin. Everything was clean, comfy, and secluded yet close. The property was beautiful from the old mill, the cabin itself, and waterfalls. I explored up to the dam in search of otters, but no luck. Darn. Would definitely stay again if in the area.”

“3 generations gathered here for a summer getaway that included boating, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, and rollercoaster riding—all from this secluded cabin. The accommodations are wonderful and it puts you right near all the “stuff” without being in the middle of all the people. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen and grill were great for preparing our own meals. Bring your own water toys or use theirs! You’re all alone while you’re there and 30-40 minute drives……

“Overall, this is a charming lakefront home that leans into the fishing cabin vibe with décor and kayaks. The cigar lounge was a great spot that guests would enjoy. I would have liked to give this home a higher rating, but it lacked the attention to detail needed to make it a highly rated vacation rental.
