“Charming and beautiful place. We stayed in the carriage house and absolutely loved it. Our suite exceeded our expectations. The only negative is that they do not have an elevator making the trek to the second floor with multiple suitcases a bit of a chore. ”

“This property is a treasure. We stumbled upon it as we were coming out of Maine late at night. It is a historic property with an antique elevator and metal keys for each room. The grounds are beautiful and the workers were hard at work to keep it up. There were signs of wear, but we were still impressed and expressed the desire to bring my mother-in-law who would definitely enjoy the historic aspect. The area around this property in NH is gorgeous. We will be back. I will say my 18 year old son……

“We cycled to the motel so were unable to bring our own food. The motel is a few miles from the nearest restaurant - too far to cycle for a meal out. The manager kindly offered to buy food for us which was there on our arrival. We grilled the sausages on the gas grill. There were tables and chairs next to the grill and undercover. We later sat around a fire. The wood was provided free of charge. Overall we had a very pleasant stay. ”

“Very nice resort. Our room was very clean although I will mention that there was kind of a musty smell so we felt the need to open the windows quite a bit to get fresh air. There are screens on the windows so that was not an issue. Breakfast was really nice so was the pool and hot tub. If anyone from management reads this review, it would be good to get a new clock in the indoor pool area it's not working... “Everything was nice! All the staff were friendly. They offer coffee and some to go items for breakfast. Very laid back environment. Lots of toys for the kids. Not in pictures were basketball hoop, volleyball net, bean bag toss, and so much more. Perfect location….close to everything but nice and quiet. ”

“We loved this hotel and will be returning. PROS: The room was very spacious, clean, well decorated, and modern. There was a fridge in the room. Wall mounted air conditioning control. Great breakfast (scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, potatoes, sausage, etc). There is a nice gym and indooor pool. The hotel looked great. I could not believe this is rated only as a 2-star hotel - it should be at least a 3-star hotel. A short walk to restaurants. Reasonable pricing. CONS: none”

"The front desk staff was extremely friendly and even recommended nearby souvenir shops and an amazing breakfast spot. I would give them a perfect score for their service. The hotel is converted from an old elementary school, which gives it a unique character. However, the bathroom is a bit small, with a sink that seems sized for elementary school students, making it easy to splash water everywhere. The bed appears to have dust mites, as my allergies acted up shortly after lying down, though it wasn't too severe. The TV offers many channel options, so you won't get bored at night！"
