The view was not spectacular but there were some really neat places that we were able to hike to nearby including 3 ponds. Unfortunately we were not able to catch any fish in either the ponds or the creek but we had fun nonetheless. We made trips to Linville Caverns and Linville Falls (45 mins away) as well as the Nantahala Outdoor Center to white water raft on the……

“The house was cozy and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked except there was only on small pot, but plenty of pans. The listing said the house has private river access. I took that to mean that there was river access directly behind the house. A clarifying statement that river is accessible by a short drive would have been helpful. Once I adjusted my expectations, we had a great time. Thank you.”
