“The location was fine. The beds were aweful. The hall bedroom.. the mattress was bowed like a taco, think the bedframe was broken. The master bedroom… the mattress sunk in the middle and the Master bath shower curtains were moldy. Not convenient if you wanted to do laundry during your stay… wasn’t well informed where it was. Would not book here again!! ”

“Great two beautiful days.!!location was great with the waterway just steps away out back and the beach was right across the street! King Bed slept very well! Loved the shower as the water was hot and great water pressure. The only thing was the pool was not open which was disappointing. The grounds guy said it would have been open but recent plastering the pool had to be closed. “My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend away together - Atlantic Beach/Morehead City/Beaufort - is our favorite area! We also attended a wedding in Indian Beach (the original reason for the trip). We have stayed at this location 4-5 times, specifically in this unit twice and we are always pleased! It’s very easy to visit all the attractions in the area - this unit is well kept and easy to check in/communicate with the owners - we will definitely come again!”

“Of all the places we could have stayed in our first time at Oriental this one was perfect. The upstairs apartment was a great place to bird watch (we wished we'd brought our binoculars!) and take in the water view. The place was extremely clean and well stocked, even with sugar for our coffee. The only confusing thing was finding the door which happens to be from the same porch as the lower level apartment. Otherwise, wish we could have stayed longer!”

“Tim who works the desk is very accommodating and personable. The check in was easy and straight forward. The property reminded me of a hunting cabin rather for fishing. It’s really just a bunk house but it has everything you need and they even provide a food saver with a roll of bags and plenty of ziplock bags for anyone taking home their catch. You’re right next to the marina. The only downside is that they are doing construction next door so it’s kind of a mess, but I would imagine they will……

“The real plus about my stay at this property was to play golf at nearby Harbour Point. A really good course at a very reasonable price. The only downside with the accomodation is that it is a little dated and everything is very dark coloured. The bathroom certainly needs updating.”
