“Hello, We stay Friday - Monday over Labor Day weekend. I wanted to see Cape Lookout. We took the ferry over on Saturday, which was just a short quick ride to the ferry dock from the house. We did purchase our tickets before going and the Ferries were sold out that afternoon. The restaurant across the street was wonderful. We had 2 dinners over there. Sunday we took a day trip to Beaufort, a 24-minute drive from the property. The beds were super comfy and the place was very clean. Looks just……

“This beautiful knotty pine second floor apartment was surprisingly large. With separate, living, kitchen and huge bedroom. Janet was an excellent host and we enjoyed spending time with her on the lovely porch. ”

“This is the second time we have rented this location. We enjoyed our time. Just as advertised. Great location, nice screened in porch and area to dock your boat. Perfect for 2 people for a week. To me the mattress was hard and not comfortable, although my husband was fine with it. Need a place for hanging clothes. ”
