“We booked this beautiful home on the marsh of Harkers Island. The home is not only well stocked but decorated magazine worthy in coastal blues and rattan. Bedrooms have ceiling fans, laundry baskets, noise machines, and clocks where you can plug in phone chargers. Extra details were sprinkled throughout the house. The view from the deck was so serene. All 6 of us including my teens gravitated to the porch to eat breakfast and then watch the gorgeous sunsets. The house is also a short distance……

“Small, cute cottage in a very quiet location. Many people just pass through Harker's Island to take the ferry to Cape Lookout, but it's lovely as a destination if you want tranquility and quiet relaxation.There was a problem with the check-in: house wasn't cleaned or accessible when we arrived a couple of hours after check-in time. However, the host immediately responded to our texts and very quickly made everything right.Very nice stay - we especially loved the Seaside Galley, a hidden gem of……

“We had a wonderful weekend getaway. Very easy access to Front Street. Kids loved the pool and views from dock. Extra surprise finding Beaufort Grocery having a pop up place a block from the house! Kitchen was well stocked and beds extremely comfortable. We had a slight hiccup with the internet, but we were able to get it working before we left. Would definitely stay again!”

“I don't remember staying in any VRBO that had a better-equipped kitchen. Everything, from sharp knives to a lobsta-cooking pot! And everything was well organized, clean and functional. Even spices or odds and ends left by previous tenants were helpful. The host must go throught he cupboards and intuitively keep only those leftovers that seem helpful to the next tenant because we actually did use leftover tea bags, a spot of sugar, the pepper grinder.
