A warm welcome awaits you at Heron's Cottage, recently refurbished, 2 bedroom, traditional Irish cottage in beautiful rural Shannon countryside. Set in 4 Acres of private gardens, located in an area of natural beauty. This property offers a tranquil base exploring and enjoying all that a holiday in Ireland has to offer. Flexible accommodation and spacious communal areas this property is perfect for friends or family.

Tastefully decorated, furnished and fully equipped. Heron's Cottage offers a comfortable and relaxing stay, each double bedroom offers a king size bed with comfy mattresses, fresh pillows and crisp high quality linen. The property is all on one floor, generous open plan kitchen and dining area and a separate living room with a wood burner. Great Stay

I can not review this property fairly. I can review the Host which were awesome. There was an issue with the original property. Jody and John were able to make alternative accommodations for us. We were very pleased. It was in the same location, which you definitely need a vehicle for. We were able to visit many areas from here with ease. Communication was excellent, would rent again.

The cottage

Lovely time spent here, unfortunately we did not realise it was so open so one of our dogs found the two ponds which I didn’t realise were there and the rest is history lol, we had to keep him on a long line whilst staying there otherwise he would have drowned the place so if you have a water loving dog it’s not the best idea as you’ll spend your time trying to keep them out of it , but other than that lovely cottage lovely host , and really enjoyed our stay a great break away 😊
