There is restaurant and pub in front of the hotel, if you tell them you are staying at Edelweiss you get a 10% discount. It was far enough from downtown to be away from the loud noises and crowds, but close enough to be able to walk to within five to ten minutes. There was a guaranteed parking space for us in their private parking lot. The couple who ran it were great to my teenage children. They showed off their pet animals.
