It is a pet friendly stay and so there was some dog hair that found us throughout the stay. It wasnt a huge issue as none of us are allergic. “My family and I had a wonderful weekend at the Little Red Cabin. It was clean, and very comfortable. The views were spectacular, lots of ducks (mallards, buffleheads, common mergansers) and geese to watch just out side the windows. The only thing missing was a place to put our clothes in the upstairs rooms. Maybe some shelves, or hooks. Perhaps some hooks in the upstairs bathroom to hang towels.”

“We had an amazing week at this cabin! The location right on Moosehead Lake was incredible. The kids fished off the jetty daily while we watched from the comfort of the cabin deck. We had great access for paddle boarding and swimming. Loved coming back after a day of activities to cook on the grill, have a fire and watch the amazing sunsets. Cabin was clean, nicely decorated, and fully stocked with everything! The owners were super responsive to any questions. We would definitely love to……

“The house was spacious and clean. The kitchen was the best equipped of any vacation rental we ever had. There was easy access to the lake right out back via a small dock and very nice, safe beach area. Beautiful views across the lake, and very close to the restaurants in town. We will definitely be back next year!”

“Location was great for fishing Moosehead Lake and lodge has great space for the ten of us to relax and sleep and cook in the evening. Only down side was there was not enough parking for the number of trucks and trailers e we had but we made sure by leaving trailers at the near by boat landing.”

“This was our second time staying for a week at the cabin. The house was fully stocked and very clean. The backyard is a beautiful oasis whether you enjoy swimming, canoeing, or relaxing in the hammock. We are already looking forward to next summer! ”

“Nice Lil cabin. Clean and comfortable beds. I was able to get Wifi and movies on Roku. Close to the wilderness and also downtown greenville and Nearby Rockwood and Jackman Maine. The front entrance is a little trickey at first but after you do it once you get the hang of it.. All and all great stay. Would definitely go back ”

“We had the absolute best stay- from start to finish! The moment you walked in the door and up the stairs was…. stunning…. what a view, literally picture perfect! The house was so clean and beautifully decorated- very warm and cozy! We met the neighbor down by the water and he was incredibly nice- he gave us the names of some local favorite places to eat. We had such a wonderful stay and are hoping to book again next year! The pictures online don’t do this house justice- it’s so beautiful!!!! We……

“The house is amazing. We all thought it was also even bigger than the pictures made it seem, which we enjoyed. The hosts are extremely responsive. We loved having the paddle boat and paddle boards to use on the sunny days. ”
