“It was a nice stay. The driveway was slippery so when we walked our dogs we really had to be careful not to slip and fall. It also would have been nice if there was a better shoveled sidewalk to get into our room. We had to jump a pretty big snow pile to get onto the sidewalk to access our room. ”

“Firstly the house was amazing. Very clear a lot of thought went into the construction, finishes, and décor. The kitchen was well-appointed (above average) even with a few spices, seasonings, and condiments. House was clean and beds were comfortable. “We spent the weekend snowshoeing and cross country skiing at Fern Park. The park is a short drive from the motel. Great restaurants were within walking distance from the motel. The owners were very friendly, offered a great breakfast and kept the parking lot and sidewalks clear of snow during a snowstorm. ”

“My stay at Hill Top Lodge was wonderful! Chris is a fabulous host (along with Bare and Nikko, the two king shepherds). The bacon really is as good as the other reviews say! Photos of the property really don’t do it justice (it may be a bit steep for some to access the creek by foot though). The kitchen was well stocked with basic spices, oils, pots, and pans for cooking dinners. I would absolutely stay here again!”

The property is absolutely serene and stunning. Pictures do not even do it justice. We were able to snowshoe the trails on the property. It was an absolute winter wonderland.
