“We rented this cabin for our son’s 15th birthday and it was perfect! Quiet area, overlooked the beach and water. Beach was not crowded at all. Great place to swim, fish, kayak. Peaceful and serene, but also very close to town if you need anything. We will definitely be back!! ”

“What an amazing spacious getaway for a family dog for ages ranging 32 to 84. There was plenty of first floor rooms and bathrooms to accommodate all mobility levels. We do wish we had better planned for the distance from the house to the pool. There was difficulty in transport/distance for our older folks. We enjoyed all areas of the home and fire pit area. We did have some difficulty navigating the driveways at first but figured it out. We went to nearby McAthur to pick up pizza and to Lake……

“This is our third time staying here. The check in process is extremely simple, the host is remarkably available and quick to respond, and guests truly hold up their end of the bargain on “leaving no trace” upon leaving. There are items to borrow and items to buy in a cabinet/shelter which is on the honor system. I really appreciated the host allowing us to pay for firewood at the end of the stay so we wouldn’t have to make multiple payments- it made it extremely easy. We’re already planning……
