“The apartment worked well for us as we visited Beckley and the New River NP. We loved having a full size refrigerator and freezer, an everything we needed in the kitchen. The wine and coffee was an enjoyable bonus. The hosts were very responsive. The living room area was very comfortable. There is a short stairway to the adjacent vehicle parking, but no issue for two fit seniors. It was nice having free, designated parking for the apartment. We would stay there again if we return to the area. ”

“This place looks exactly like the photos and in person, appears to be well taken cared of. The location was great. Just be cautious with small children. Most of the time, the drivers were going the speed limit but there were a few who just sped down the road which is directly in front of the home. ”

“We came is as family to ski at Winterplace. The route to resort took about 25 minutes in the morning. The house was very clean, in a quiet neigborhood. The host was very responsive. Bowling lanes that were 5 minutes away from the house allowed us some evening family fun. Overall we had no complaints and had great time. This definitely beats hotels for us. Thanks for hosting! ”

“Booked for a relaxing birthday vacation away from busy life in NY. The day of our arrival (hours before arriving) we were informed that the hot tub isn't working and won't be for at least another week. This was very disappointing because the hot tub was the only reason we booked here. We made the best of it and enjoyed the New River Gorge and it's many hikes. “Staff was very efficient and friendly. Breakfast staff was awesome- very friendly and kept breakfast items stocked. The only critique I would give is that the property is older and could use some remodeling/upgrades. Overall room mostly clean. There were a couple of hairs in the bathroom sink and the soap dish had not been cleaned. A couple of small stains on the comforter. Otherwise clean. ”
