“We were visiting our daughter & husband, and this accommodation was very convenient to them. The amenities were all first class: comfortable queen bed; thick plush towels; generous amount & quality of paper products; and more. Much nicer than some hotels we've stayed in. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Tried to contact host 4 times leading up to our stay. No response. We never received a response or access to the home. VRBO advised me they were cancelling our stay 1 hour after we were supposed to check in. Our last resort was a below average hotel. Don’t take your chances on this one”

“I have never been as comfortable at a VRBO than we were at Bear’s Rest. We live in North Carolina on a mountain, so we loved and appreciated the cabin feel and decor. Everything was top notch. The location was perfect, close proximity to our family, restaurants, and groceries but quiet and restful. We hope to be able to visit Bear’s Rest again!”

“A great location for our family reunion in the Lebanon area, and we would definitely stay here again. Plenty of room in the house. Good places to eat nearby in Mason, including Two Cities Pizza and Culver's (a family favorite). Management was responsive to our requests, though balls for the foosball table were not going to arrive until after our departure. And thankfully, we were planning to eat most of our meals out, as this house had the least equipped kitchen we've encountered in our many……

“We visited the Green Plains Cabin for a four-day weekend in mid-June. The cabin was adorable, with a storybook old-world Swedish theme. The main level had a comfy sitting area, a small kitchen, and a half-bath. The bedroom upstairs seemed to have a queen-size bed (we didn't stay up there), and the basement had a king-sized bed and a full bath. Our host, Sarah, was lovely to work with and responded to our questions promptly. I would definitely recommend a visit.”
