“My 2 grandsons & I had a wonderful visit at the Riverkeeper Inn. The Riverfront is beautiful & lots of nature to enjoy. They also liked riding around on the golf cart in the neighborhood checking out the deer & birds. Very peaceful. It was a nice getaway for them being from Texas. ”

“In a great location for walking to the historic area of Harper's Ferry, the Appalachian trail, and Jefferson Rock. If you are fond of cemeteries it is close to Harper's cemetery. Hosts' gave great suggestions of places to eat and things to do.Cozy and clean - if you want a lot of space, you'll probably want something else, but this was perfect for just us especially since we were busy out sight seeing!”

“House was clean, there was enough dishes to cook with. there is only one bathroom which worked out fine because there are two half baths. Joe was also pleasant to work with, it was my second time booking with vrbo, he made me comfortable with the check in prosses. planning a trip need a place that is centrically located and easy to find I would suggest you give this house a try.”

“Everything went super smoothly. Nancy is an excellent communicator. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the main strip and that walk is through a beautiful neighborhood with friendly folks all around. 10/10 would stay again. ”

“The house was absolutely incredible, stocked with everything you need. Beautiful furniture, lovely layout and was the perfect place for our small mountain bachelorette getaway. Walking distance to an amazing bakery, Harper’s ferry and hikes. Laurel was extremely responsive when we blew a fuse blow drying hair and came right away to fix it. 10/10 experience on everything!”

“What a nice, history rich house to stay in. You can tell it has old bones but has been maintained and is full of character. Loved the relaxing setting with the river running around the house. Plenty to explore on the property down by the water and in the woods. Exactly what’s needed for a relaxing get away. Close to town as well for anything needed. Kirsten was a great host. ”

“My brother and I stayed at this property during a relocation transition. We loved the homey feel of this property. It was clean, well supplied with the necessities and beautifully decorated. It felt like home. The bonus was the owner, who was so helpful and avaliable to assist with whatever we needed. The property manager who lives next door was also very helpful when we needed to do laundry and could not find the washing machine and dryer. She was there promptly to help us. I only have one……

“We wanted a quiet getaway and that’s exactly what we got. We like Hedgesville’s proximity to Berkeley Springs, Harpers Ferry and Winchester, VA. Hedgesville itself doesn’t have a lot going on - a few independent restaurants & shops, a Martin’s grocery store. If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us. While there are half a dozen or so homes around the cabin,……
