“What a nice, history rich house to stay in. You can tell it has old bones but has been maintained and is full of character. Loved the relaxing setting with the river running around the house. Plenty to explore on the property down by the water and in the woods. Exactly what’s needed for a relaxing get away. Close to town as well for anything needed. Kirsten was a great host. ”

“This house and visit overall was spectacular. Rorke was incredibly responsive, the house was very clean, there were many helpful little notes about the quirks of the house, and the location right on the river could not be more peaceful and ideal. ”

“House was clean, there was enough dishes to cook with. there is only one bathroom which worked out fine because there are two half baths. Joe was also pleasant to work with, it was my second time booking with vrbo, he made me comfortable with the check in prosses. planning a trip need a place that is centrically located and easy to find I would suggest you give this house a try.”

“This adorable home is newly renovated with everything you could want! Everything was so clean and fresh. Laurel was a wonderful host and communicated clearly, asking if we needed anything else. We could easily walk to restaurants (less than two blocks away), and downtown Harper's Ferry was a little over a mile away, which was a perfect walk. We went tubing and mostly hung out at the house for a perfect girls' getaway weekend. I HIGHLY recommend staying at this property! I would go back!”

“We wanted a quiet getaway and that’s exactly what we got. We like Hedgesville’s proximity to Berkeley Springs, Harpers Ferry and Winchester, VA. Hedgesville itself doesn’t have a lot going on - a few independent restaurants & shops, a Martin’s grocery store. If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us. “My brother and I stayed at this property during a relocation transition. We loved the homey feel of this property. It was clean, well supplied with the necessities and beautifully decorated. It felt like home. The bonus was the owner, who was so helpful and avaliable to assist with whatever we needed. The property manager who lives next door was also very helpful when we needed to do laundry and could not find the washing machine and dryer. She was there promptly to help us. I only have one……
