We stayed in a Deluxe Room on the ground floor, which was spacious, stylish, and perfectly located near the gardens, pool, and beach. “Beautiful spot on the cliff over the Indian Ocean on the south coast of Mauritius. About 40 minutes from the airport, including the track through the sugar cane plantation. Quiet except for the continuous roaring of the sea and the waterfall. Wonderful staff, friendly and courteous. In particular the chief chef who made fascinating meals in local style. “Loved that the villa was homely but luxurious, having its own personal pool in the back yard. The villa had all the requirements of a home and the washer/dryer was very useful. The location is great. Walkable to a handful of restaurants - Roots Spirit, Happy Rajah, Medium Rare Steakhouse and Jiva Coffee - All recommended.
