“Everything was as described and Tammy was very easy to communicate with. We received nearly a foot of snow during our stay and Tammy arranged for someone to come plow the back lot. Much appreciated!”

“This is a private cabin that gives you your own section of Shavers Fork of the Cheat River. Very clean and well set up upon arrival. Nice deck out back facing the stream. Hot tub was at a good temperature for us. We would come back. Good central location to explore Monongahela Park. ”

“Shower backed up immediately as well as the sink, bought some strong Drano ourselves and it cleared the clog. The toilet seat was always covered with condensation so we had to keep wiping it off. Could use some new bath towels and bed spread…little things like that could use a refresh. The upstairs is very creaky and feels unsafe to walk on and the steps are very dangerous. The porch needs all new screening and the screen doors are pretty old. The rest of the house is great, but could use a……

“Nice and quiet place. The owner is very communicative! The place was amazing only thing was the water pressure was next to none for the shower. Other than that! Wow I loved it here! It’s a nice place to get away and spend with family OR go hunting! ”

“You can instantly tell how much work and love that was put into this lovely little cabin. We were looking for a weekend getaway and it couldn’t have gotten any better. You’ll have a good half hour drive to get anywhere but that suits us just fine. I can definitely see us coming back!”

“Start with the not positive, the house is located in a valley so winter weather made the roads not so great. The freezer could have been cleaner and lack of local stations made following weather and watching football games tough. The internet is not great.... Other than that, our stay was absolutely amazing! The house was perfect for our needs, warm, loved being on the river, and comfy couches. The little touches took it over the top. “We enjoyed our cozy stay at The Ale House. The mattresses were very comfortable. The apartment was well decorated and stocked with all that we needed for our stay. The neighborhood hood was quiet and the apartment is conveniently located, being that it’s close to restaurants, gas stations, drug stores and shops. The hosts was polite and helpful, answering any questions I had promptly. We look forward to using this rental again for future stays.”
