“Nice place”

“We were looking for the wrong address at first. My fault. We looked for #2 and it was actually #10. Once we found the bakery we were home free! The place was mostly clean except for a dirty hand towel and wash cloth. It was just plain Jane. The mattress on the bed even said “basic”. But it worked fine for a quick overnight.”

“I had a quick overnight visit to Belize City and this vacation studio was perfect for my needs - centrally located, quiet and safe area and the studio space was very comfortable. The host does an above and beyond by adding some activities/tour tips for the area and is readily available by phone/WhatsApp for any questions. Highly recommended and very satisfied.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carmen’s Rental in Belize City. It was a great central location to take in local tours from and we felt very safe to walk around the area as well. Easy 10 minute taxi drive to downtown. Carmen was very easy to communicate with and provided recommendations for restaurants, tours and taxi operators.”

“Ok just for a crash pad. Not a great area. And certainly no view like the picture. But if you’re just in and out. Affordable. Directions could be clearer. It’s near the chon saan palace. A Chinese food restaurant ”

“The camp is a wonderful place to stay if you’re going to be venturing around Belize. It is centrally located just outside of Belize city and is actually a short drive to almost anywhere in the country. We toured all over the country while staying there and easily made it back each day to the camp by bedtime. The place is run by some wonderful people who love their job and make you feel very welcome and at home. I will definitely be staying there when I go back to conduct business in Belize.”

Host was very responsive to all needs.The one glitch was that the map reference on the VRBO site was off by a couple of blocks and for some reason the street name is not listed in either Google Maps or Waze. Very strange. A call to the host guided us there.”

“Place is a little hard to find. You're a staying 50 feet from a major road. So road noise makes it hard to sleep. The place was very clean.”
