“Awesome property and amenities. Its clear someone put a lot of thought into making this place a great getaway. This cabin is a work of wooden art. ”

“If you're looking for a place just to sleep and be one with nature this is it! Kinda like glamping. There was mice poop everywhere, it's that time of year, didn't scare us. But their was no forks, towels, napkins, they only provided 1 trash bag we went through in a hurry and had to use grocery bags for garbage. Ran to gas station for forks and paper towels. The oven dorsnt wirk, so took 4 hours tobake a 20min bitter braid. Other than thst a good place to rough it and relax”

“3rd time staying. We love the location for fly fishing with Bishop Creek across the street in combination of only 5-10 mins drive to Viroqua downtown”

“My husband and I took a last-minute getaway for his birthday. The home was really nice and right on the river. It was a quiet area for the exception of the train which was no bother. The property was near state land which allowed us to do some hiking. Just a 20 minute drive into town for restaurants and shopping. ”

“Has just about everything you need. Would recommend some newer pots and pans and updating the amenities listing.”

“We absolutely loved staying at this rental. It was clean, cozy, easy to access and secluded. It was very comfortable- there were plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, and little touches to make you feel right at home. When a repair took place, the communication was transparent and we weren't inconvenienced in the slightest. The cabin is near wonderful hiking paths and a short drive from basic needs like groceries, gas, and firewood. I would highly recommend this rental if you'd like a quiet……

“we enjoyed our stay, the place was very roomy and easy to find. we enjoyed the hot tub. we didn't like the hand rail on the stairs(they seemed steep) it was to big (your hands couldn't grip it) but it was a great get away and very relaxing”

“This is a lovely, quiet, secluded property with an incredible view. We spent alot of time on the screened in porch. Great relaxation spot day or night. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. ”

“The Tanager was perfect for two guys on a fishing trip. Close to so many great trout streams, to great food and drink in Viroqua and peaceful.”

“This cabin was clean and comfortable. It’s situated in a peaceful little meadow, and is a great place to relax and watch wildlife. My husband and grandson had great success trout fishing in Bishop Branch Creek which runs right along the property. It’s very close to Viroqua which is a nice little town with restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay. We hope to return!”
