“This was such a cozy, clean, welcoming little cabin in a quiet valley only a 10-minute drive (at most) into Viroqua. Lovely big table for crafts, puzzles, knitting, games, or just sitting and chatting! Tons of natural light!!Word of caution that most of the extra beds are upstairs, so people sleeping upstairs should be comfortable climbing the ladder.I would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Jake and Becky, for sharing your slice of paradise with us and for being such welcoming hosts! ……

“We had a great, relaxing time here. Cabin was clean and as advertised, communication for check in/out was easy, and we loved the hot tub. Would definitely return in the future”

“Unfortunately, the weather turned cold the day we arrived, and was cold for the duration of our stay, so we were unable to use the nice deck area. In warmer weather, it would have been a great place to hang out. The beds were comfortable, and it was adequately heated. We did some fishing off the dock, and caught a nice bass. ”

“we enjoyed our stay, the place was very roomy and easy to find. we enjoyed the hot tub. we didn't like the hand rail on the stairs(they seemed steep) it was to big (your hands couldn't grip it) but it was a great get away and very relaxing”

“Ideal spot for a family gathering of three couples -- plenty of space; plenty of those small food items you put in refrigerator door (but don't want to buy for just a two night stay). Chris is a very responsive host. And if you come with two EV's, there are two external outlets (both 110v) for slow charging. A bonus. Nearest charger is in the Food Coop parking lot in Viroqua - no charge. ”
