“We arrived at the properly late night. Michel was available for us and answered our questions right away. It’s perfectly located, close to Iowa and Minnesota. We drove to Brownsville MN to eat at a marina, the easy to go to La Crosse to have some great ice scream and walk by the river, and drove back to the Iowa side to have a beer in a local bar. It was amazing. The cabin itself it a magical place. You can just watch a movie and enjoy of a great view locking out the house, you can walk around……

“The property is quite secluded and down a very long and narrow gravel road, so getting to and from Viroqua and activities took longer than we anticipated. But the host provided detailed instructions for finding the place. We loved the seclusion and surrounding woods. The house is beautiful and smells like fresh cut pine. “Really enjoyed this cabin. Well equipped, cozy and beautiful. Stairs are steep (not a problem for us but could be a concern for some). Only issue was hot tub wasn't working fully - owner was aware and thought it had been fixed but wasn't.”

“The house was the perfect size for the four of us. (You could easily have 6-8 people.) We loved being able to walk down to the dock and fish. The second night there we caught lots of fish! The only downfall was that there wasn't any seating on the dock. Next time we'll bring our own chairs to take down with us.There is a big patio with a grill and a nice table and chair set to sit at and enjoy the outdoors and even a screened in back patio where we sat and enjoyed supper. The cabin was in a very nice secluded area but also it was close enough of a drive to enjoy area attractions. It is a three level cabin and gave us plenty of space to move around. We were lucky enough to see two does and a fawn in the yard. ”
