“Property was beautiful ”

“What a great place for a family of 5. Plenty of room and things to do. The house had everything we needed and was just as depicted. We will be back for sure. Matt B. ”

“Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit.”

“The property is beautiful and we had a pleasant stay, but there are a handful of notes that would have turned this into a 5-star experience: 1) The property features two queen size beds and one twin bed. All of the mattresses are STIFF. Not firm, STIFF. We had some pretty rough nights on these. If you can't replace the mattresses, at least include some plush mattress covers. 2) The top tier balcony was off-limits, with P-touch stickers on the door demanding guests not open it. “As the pictures show, Gummy Bear is a whimsical and unique structure. The property is beautiful with grounds to roam and a fire pit. The location was a great go-between for adventures to Lake Crescent and Port Townsend. The home needs an exterminator and better barriers to keep critters out. My husband kept finding droppings and suspected mice or rats. We had a sealed loaf of garlic bread on the kitchen counter, and woke the next ”

“House feels brand new. Lovely location on a cute little lake. Lots to do, from kayaks to two large screen TVs, a nice kitchen and beautiful deck overlooking deck. We had five sunny April days. Only wish there was more than 2 bathrooms for the nine of us. Would definitely return.”

“The host was really nice very fast response. We enjoyed our stay. They let use use the water hose from there other property to clean our bikes off. Everything worked out for us.”

“We very much enjoyed our stay. It was exceptionally clean, cozy and had everything we needed to be comfortable. A few things to note: in case it matters to you (it didn't to us) there is no TV; we couldn't get the sauna to work; we couldn't get some of the lights to work, which was a bit inconvenient inside and made it dark outside. We were also advised to stay out of the back yard due to a mudslide. Other than that, the stay was wonderful, and we would definitely go back. We had a group ranging……

“I encourage any adult couple or a lone adult seeking a relaxing stay to book this spot. Never thought any place could beat a beautiful oceanside stay but this River’s Edge home did it for us! We could hear the water rushing down the stream, birds singing, and in the mornings a rooster crowing. We loved it. Having the fireplace on the deck and the fire pit near the water was amazing. We used both. Christian provided plenty of firewood! We had enough backyard grassy area to throw the frisbee……

“The cabin was exactly as listed and even better in person! The view, hot tub, fire pit and location was perfect. The landscaping was beautiful. Wireless phone chargers, well stocked kitchen and comfy beds were appreciated. Enjoyed time on the covered front porch during rain showers. Easy access to town and Olympic NP. ”
