“Great place, very clean and well appointed property in a quiet residential area. Lots of local wildlife (rabbits and deer) made the stay extra special. Not much around but we knew that in advance. Local store does nice sandwiches.”

“Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit.”

“This property is in a wonderful quiet location. The access to the beach and the views of the bay are amazing. The house is old and access to the house is up a lot of stairs, but that wasn’t a problem for our group. When we stayed in August there was quite a few wasps around the property which limited our time down on the grassy area, some wasp traps would be a good idea. Otherwise another great stay for us! ”

“beautiful and well kept. it was the perfect get out of seatown cabin! even tho it is neighbors on 3 sides it felt very secluded and the full on unobstructed view of the water . . . i am super happy about it all! also, the host always had a quick response to questions. nice little gem and i will definitely try to book again. ”

“We loved this place. It was like staying at your grandparents’ cabin for the weekend. Very cozy, tons of games, everything you could ever want in a kitchen, and views u like anything my grandparents EVER had! The location was perfect for visiting downtown Langley and about 30 minutes from Coupeville, which are both extremely charming and packed with wonderful shops, friendly people, and lovely restaurants. “The yurt was quite lux and larger than it seems from the photo (it also has AC!). Grounds were lovely with goats and horses. It has rural feeling and is quite peaceful yet quite close to town. Only downside was there was some road noise. Overall we loved it and would stay again!”

“A lovely getaway for me, my mom and 2 children. The place was clean, well stocked and peaceful. Beautiful views. Didn’t use the hot tub but looked in it and it was clean and hot. Noise from the hot tub was loud, it may have been a setting that was left on. I did mention to the managers and they responded as soon as their office opened - we were leaving so wasn’t going to be an ongoing issue for us, but they said they would take a look, so what more can they do. “Cute cabin in the woods. Our doggy loved the yard! Lots of spider webs, but had seen that on previous reviews. Would definitely stay there again!”

“Very special quiet retreat. I loved the setting: a beautiful meadow surrounded by mountains. The Dosewallips is a short walk away and you can hear it from the cabin. The cabin is adorable and not small, with plenty of space for yoga. The bed was comfy, the outhouse incredibly clean. I hope to return. ”

“Very clean, well equipped, and comfortable! The cottage is in a beautiful peaceful location with a great deck and water views. Plenty of space to stretch out and relax!”

“The house was just what we needed for a place to sleep and relax/eat in the evenings while my daughter had a sailing competition nearby. Host was great in getting the wifi password to me the night we checked in since T-mobile desont have great reception”

“We only spent two nights but really enjoyed the weekend break. Quiet location and the internet was surprisingly good so we could stream a movie with no issues. Yes there were a few spiders and the cell reception was non-existent but that was our goal. We love stopping by Langley and Freeland so this location was perfect. We did manage to be sucessful with our trout fishing which was an added bonus. Only improvements I could see would be to do some work on the shower so it doesn't leak……
