“My dog and I had a peaceful stay for the two nights we were here. The windows in the main room give a nice view of the countryside. My dog liked the privacy and the small private trails through the woods. The fences were a bit too short in some spots to contain my large, athletic dog, so I kept him on a long leash. But the fences would probably be enough for a small-medium sized dog or a dependable large dog. The main bedroom was very comfortable and felt very cozy in the mornings. David was……

“We had never been over to Whidbey island so for my birthday we decided to spend the weekend here in coupeville. We had a really nice stay, the house had everything we needed, the hot tub was great. We would definitely come back and stay again. ”

“We spent a long weekend at Saratoga Lodge in early April 2025. We loved the house and the gorgeous view, the fenced back yard (great for our dog), and the ultimate quiet. The noisiest thing was the furnace, but it worked great, so no complaining. We didn't cook much, but the smallish kitchen seemed well appointed. Kudos for having a knife sharpener. So often rental homes have all dull knives. A couple tips for renters: 1) It's preferred you leave shoes just inside the door, so bring slippers.……

“I loved our stay here. The property manager was very responsive, the kitchen was well set up, and the space was open and inviting. The views of the mountains were amazing. The main road was closer than I thought but the design of the property gave you a lot of privacy while not taking away from the beauty of the peninsula. “Place is beautiful. In a great location to explore Washington. Wish we had more time, hot tub was nice added touch after all the hiking!!”

“This home is built to drink in the view. The water comes up right to the edge of the property. You can walk the beach when the tide is out. The queen bed was very comfortable and that is always highly valued. We were disappointed that the couch was not very comfy, bottom cushions keep slipping forward on you. It would be nice to have an ottoman so you could sit back, put your feet up and enjoy the view. It’s important to note the stove/oven combo is not full size, which is fine if you are not……

“We very much enjoyed our stay. It was exceptionally clean, cozy and had everything we needed to be comfortable. A few things to note: in case it matters to you (it didn't to us) there is no TV; we couldn't get the sauna to work; we couldn't get some of the lights to work, which was a bit inconvenient inside and made it dark outside. We were also advised to stay out of the back yard due to a mudslide. Other than that, the stay was wonderful, and we would definitely go back. We had a group ranging……

Although you aren't completely secluded from neighbors it still felt very private, and all the details were well-explained and exactly as advertised. One thing to keep in mind about the location is that it is pretty far from a real grocery store. This isn't a problem at all, just requires more planning ahead.”

“We enjoyed the view in this cozy little cabin. The hot tub was our favorite and appreciated the robes provided. There were some maintenance issues that need to be addressed, however, such as 1. the wall heater not working correctly (knob falls off), 2. kitchen sink does not drain properly when washing a few dishes. Also, I believe you should show how small the shower/bathroom is, so renters are not caught off guard. We were not expecting that from a "luxury" cabin.”
