“Excellent position at the top of the town. Cozy apartment and even though the heat wasn't allowed to be on yet for the season, it was certainly bearable on chilly October days/nights. Some people might dislike the church bells ringing in such close proximity but that never bothered us during our stay. The balcony overlooking the church and its piazza was nice and the view of the lake from the kitchen windows was fabulous. The kitchen has a small fridge with a little freezer, 2 gas burners, a……

“The property was as per advertised both in description and photos. The flat looks more like a home than a rental investment, which is greatly appreciated. The flat is close to everything in Bellagio, the downtown, the ferry and a market. We had a car but left it parked since finding parking in Bellagio is its own sport. The flat is on a hill. The result was a lot of walking (happy about that) but do be aware there are a lot of hills in the area. One night just got a pizza take away with wine……

“The stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. Most descriptions were adequate and we found what we expected. Some problems with the water supply were promptly repaired after we informed the owner (Thanks to him - overcoming some language barriers!). The only aspect which was less ideal was the description of the way to get there. The description could be improved as we arrived late in the dark and therefore pathfinding was a bit confusing. It should be mentioned that the streets are not paved at……

“Great house. Great space both indoors and outdoors. Great location. Each bedroom with its own bathroom. Perfect for family of 4 or 5. Lack of A/C tough when very hot. My suggestions would be some window covers (so easier to sleep in) and get some nicer outdoor furniture so guests can take better advantage of the 2 terraces which are quite lovely.”

“Right in the center of everything with easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Bedrooms were spacious and balconies out both the front and back. There wasn't an oven, which I didn't realize, but we made out just fine using the stove top.”

“Lovely little property 10 minute walk from Bellagio centre. Has all you need as somewhere to rest when exploring Lake Como. As mentioned in other reviews it was a bit damp with evident problems in the past with mould but over wise lovely and don’t let that put you off. Comfy bed and very clean apartment. ”

“There were no surprises when we arrived and checked out the house. It was very thoughtful that there were some food items for our arrival. Everything worked fine and the owner was responsible for a couple of maintenance issues. The yard lights did not come on the last two nights and we missed them. Getting around the area by walking is a little sketchy because the roadway is narrow. We found the ferry stop 10 minutes from the house very convenient.”

“Couldn’t ask for a better location. Steps away from the ferry. Amazing view and great people watching. Enjoyed the jazz from the adjacent restaurant on our patio but not too noisy for sleeping. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely recommend!”
