“It was such a lovely and cozy cabin, made even more special with the relaxing hot tub. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches—like the charming duck collection and the variety of board games—which added so much character and made our stay extra enjoyable. Every little detail showed how much care was put into creating a welcoming and comfortable space”

“Beautiful, scenic and peaceful location. We enjoyed our time on the deck, soaking in some sun, chatting with the neighbor and watching the goslings and wild bunnies. Only on suggestion would be to secure the top if the handrail and maybe add a short length at the bottom landing. We would love for a longer return stayCheers”

“This is a beautiful home, suitable for a weekend family getaway.The bedding and kitchen towels weren't organized or clean, so that was difficult. The kitchen was well-stocked and furnished for big meals.Thete is a large open area for visiting and socializing. The listing was a bit misleading about the bed/sleeping capacity. The king bedroom upstairs is only available if the trundle is pulled out and the mattresses separated. So it hecomes a king with a twin in that room.The lower level……

“My family stayed here while we visited the North Cascades. It’s a beautiful location near Lake Whatcom and a convenient short drive into Bellingham. The house is beautiful and filled with comfortable touches. The host was very quick to respond and made everything easy. Definitely recommend!!”

“The Cain Lake Retreat Cabin property was an ideal gathering spot to accommodate our out of town/out of country visiting family for our daughter's weekend wedding at a venue which was close by. “We loved our stay at this cozy cabin in the woods. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our multi week stay. The deck was perfect for morning coffees and the location ideal for hiking & mountain biking. We would definitely stay here again!”

“The home is great. Easy check-in and out. Nice and clean. Bathrooms are nice and updated with great showers. Kitchen and laundry were well-stocked. Nice kayaks, SUPs and a pedal boat to use. The fire-pit was a hit. The only minor drawback is the number of stairs down from the parking are to the house. People with limited mobility will struggle with the stairs. Otherwise the property is perfect. We would be happy to stay there again. The views and ambiance cannot be beaten.”

“My partner and I had a great time at the heron's nest treehouse. The listing was like the picture and we were thankful for the heads up about the fridge being very small so we brought a cooler for our food. The communication with the property manager Jackie was punctual and she let us know everything ahead of time. The treehouse overall was very remote and quiet and both of us enjoyed the property!”
