“The property really is beautiful, with stunningly large trees all around. The house is nice and just like the photos show it. I did recommend to the property manager that he find a way to raise the beds height and replace the kitchen stools with backed, adjustable height cushioned stools. With those changes, the property would be perfect (for us anyway). It’s a great location; we hiked, snowshoed and skied/snowboarded during our stay. Make a stop at the waterfall (can’t remember the name).……

“Amazing property in a secluded feeling area while still being a reasonable drive to downtown Bellingham and a short drive to beautiful Whatcom Falls. The house was immaculate, the beds were very comfortable, good cooking supplies, even the toilet paper was high quality! Communication from the hosts was very good and they accommodated a special request we had. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again!”

“You cannot beat the view from this property! My family and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend here while heading into Bellingham for fun during the day. There are stairs to access the property (which we knew), but that is something to consider if booking. The access road and driveway are also fairly steep--we have an AWD so it was not a concern. The kitchen was well-appointed, the beds were comfortable, and did I mention the view? A peaceful place to relax while visiting our WWU student--I……

“Beautiful views and very relaxing atmosphere in the woods. Loved the enclosed hot tub and the owner had great communication/instructions and gives good advice such as bringing groceries with you as the store on the island is more like a 7/11 than a grocery store. Be sure to check out the beach behind the church, nice long beach front and great for rock hounding.”

“Great house. Clean and very nice amenities and decor. Perfect for our small family and doggy. Great hiking trail just beyond the quaint mountainous neighborhood. Would have been a perfect place to stay for going to the hill too, but we missed the pow. Looking forward to next time. ”
