“This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The location is good and the owner is great. Kim is very responsive. We had an issue with the temperature in the place and Kim addressed it quickly and attentively; and it was resolved. Even my dog was comfortable staying there. He usually barks when we leave him alone (crated), but he didn't while there. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. Close enough to Pennington Gap for groceries and restaurants. ”

“The house is wonderful, tranquil, and relaxing. We stayed there for our annual family get-together. We could not have chosen a better place. The home supplies everything you need except the food you will eat. We had three couples staying there, and it never felt crowded. There's plenty of space for everyone. You'll need to consider renting this home. It's home away from home.”

“Roaches as big as my thumb, mouse droppings. Owners didn’t know anything about the camper. Air stopped working, had to call someone myself to tell me how to fix it. Owners didn’t seem to wanna be bothered . They had better things to do Took 2 hours to show up to check it by then I had it working . Daughter knew more about the camper than they did . I get that it’s all new to them . But they could’ve done so much better. Get an exterminator!!!!”

“What a lovely place to stay in the mountains of southwest Virginia. We visit BSG nearly every year for a family reunion. The only decent hotel in town has seen better days and we wanted something more comfortable. This trip was my 84 year old Dad and me. He LOVED it and so did I!!!The owners took care to think of everything when renovating this house. From being able to make our fresh coffee from the provided supplies to the fabulous shower I wish I had at home — everything was perfect! We look……

“The cabin itself is the perfect size for 2 people! We loved the view and how excluded the property was from any other houses. The view of the river and mountains from the porch is breathtaking. If you have any questions the host is quick to respond and is very helpful. We will absolutely be coming back next year! ”
