“Incredible! Had a wonderful stay visiting family in the area. This home exceeded our expectations in every way. Very spacious, amazingly clean and non-cluttered. Our visit coincided with a heat wave (90) and when we arrived was such a pleasure to walk in greeted by cool air from 2 mini-split AC units. Not typically needed in the northern woods of Maine, but quite welcome during this visit. Host is very responsive and accommodating. Looking forward to booking again in the future!”

“Amazing property at a pristine location overlooking the lake. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay, especially helping us out when there was an unexpected snow storm that led to power outage. Brought us over buckets and flashlights and offered us to move to another property. We loved this property so much that we decided to stay on. Cannot recommend this property and Kim and Renee enough. Would love to visit again”

“Great stay!!!! Big parking lot out back for trucks and snowmobile trailers. Trail just down the street that leads to Katahdin General Store for fuel. Worked just as we needed for our week long snowmobile trip.”

“As advertised. Clean, spacious, modern. This is a remote area and a fantastic way to leave everything behind. There's no cell service here (by my carrier, at least), so it was actually nice to not be bothered by incoming texts. The on-site wifi is very strong, so you can stay connected if you wish. There was some good fishing on the river - right in the backyard. At night while lying in bed the gentle breeze creates a white-noise effect on the roof, lulling you to sleep. We'd definitely……

“We are experienced VRBO clients.This is an outstanding property! Clean, clean, clean, and comfortable. We found the property extremely well stocked with all the toiletries and cooking amenities. The property has a nice sandy swimming area and the host is responsive should you need anything. ”

“The house had some minor flaws, but fit our needs nicely. It was a quiet street both in terms of traffic and neighbors. As for cleanliness, some red mold on shower curtain liner upstairs bath and front stoop had a pile of leaves. The listing was confusing regarding if a laundry washer and dryer on-site. One of the twin beds on first floor had a feel of an air matress... not comfortable and shifted while sleeping.”

“Signed up some time ago to be in Totality for the eclipse. Besides quick responses on our few questions from our host, we were able to connect with "the Slice" restaurant close by where we could view the south-west skies. Lots of friendly folks working there and in the area.”
