“One of the better VRBOs I've stayed at. Very nice 3 bedroom, 2 baths. Nicely furnished, comfortable, very clean, nice amenities, etc. Best supplied kitchen i have seen, and plenty of towels. Can't say enough good things here. Only minor issue i had was the couch, it wasn't comfortable for me, but fine for the rest of the group. Not an issue since we weren't there sitting around much anyway.”

“We enjoyed sitting around the fire and viewing the beautiful woods that this property sat on. Our grandkids loved all the space to run around and explore. We could watch the deer meander through the woods while we drink our coffee through the kitchen windows. Very secluded and peaceful. The house was adequate for our stay.”

“We loved staying at “The Baron”. This historic home was a wonderful place for our family, which included six adults and two toddlers, to stay for our vacation to Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands. It is spacious and we had plenty of room to cook, dine and play games together. The bedrooms are quaint, and we having the fenced yard to hang out in was great. Mary was an amazing host! She was easy to communicate with and always immediately responded when we had any questions. We had a great……

“Close to town made it easy and convenient to pick up food and needed supplies. Cabin was suppled well, shower had good pressure and beds were comfortable. Thank you for the stay!!”

“Location was good for our itinerary which included a trip to Bayfield plus some hiking and a day on the UTV trails. Beautiful scenery at the home, but it seems house had a problem with mice that should get fixed. Overall we enjoyed our stay once we accepted we would share the space with some uninvited guests. 😁”

“This was our 2nd stay at this property. We were able to enjoy the beach and the beautiful deck. The property is very well stocked with everything we needed! We all loved the outdoor shower…even the 4 year old boys were excited to shower! We hope to be back again! ”

“Great location in Ashland. Very close to walking trails along Lake Superior and downtown Ashland. The location was spotless and newly renovated. Also, the location provided a great selection of snacks and beverages, which was unexpected but amazing. The host was very communicative and responsive.
