“My husband, brother, sister-in-law and I wanted to do a little surprise weekend getaway for my parents to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. This house was perfect! So clean, and cozy! Had everything you could possibly think of! EXACTLY what we want when we use a rental home. So many accommodations! It was great! ”

“The house was just as advertised. Four college girlfriends stayed here for the weekend. The house is immaculate and has everything you need. We stayed in and cooked one night. Another night we drove into town (very close to downtown St. Joe). Tony was quick to respond to all of our questions. This is a great alternative to a hotel in this area.”

“Perfect location for exploring the area and relaxing with the private backyard and hot tub. We enjoyed the beautiful views and sunsets of Lake Michigan. The hosts were very responsive and had great recommendations! ”

Bathrooms clean, roomy. Older property but had character. Cool game room. Reasonably priced. Only minor cons. Needs more mirrors & trash cans. Road noise can be heard. Critter was in vent. Old doors didn't fully close. ”

“The location of the property was close enough to all the things to do in the area and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. My friend and I appreciated the communication with the owner and the ease of check-in and check-out. There is an apple tree in the front yard so we had to make sure to not bother the bees feasting on fallen apples. Otherwise, a pleasant stay!”

“The property was clean and comfortable and was all we needed for a couple of nights. It was as described in the listing.It seems to be a little hidden gem as other properties on the same street appear dilapidated and neglected.”

“The house was clean and had all of the necessities! We all loved the setting and the farming community. The campfire was perfect as well as the deck and the porch for morning coffee. We were in love with this quirky yet breathtaking farmhouse!! If you want to go to town it is a straight shot and so many beautiful winery’s close by. Would definitely stay again!”

“The Rocky Gap Overlook was a wonderful place to stay. We had friends meet us from out of town and there was more than enough space for all of us! Any occasional issue we had (which were very few) was quickly taken care of by management within the hour. They responded to our messages within minutes! We loved this place so much and we would definitely stay here again!”

“The key feature of the property was that it is walkable to shops, dining and beach access in New Buffalo. It was clean and offered nice layout with an extra bed/trundle and 2 bathrooms. The TVs are not streaming accessible and lacked instructions for use and host service was unable to troubleshoot. The house lacked personal touches of a home and included a book of many rules. ”
