“Giovanni was an excellent host and very helpful. The video sent to us prior to arrival showing how to find our room was so good and precise. Our room was clean and spacious, with tea and coffee facilities. The private terrace and breakfast provided was plentiful and the staff were so friendly. Would definitely recommend this property, very quiet but only a few minutes walk to the busy streets of Matera. Many happy memories made. Thank you. ”

Be ready to get your stair-master on. There was an inside direct road into Matera Saadi center, but we preferred to wander the old part with gorgeous views over the valley. So up and down we went. ”

“少有人第一次到義大利就到過Matera，就是這個念頭，我們風塵僕僕地來到這裏，只因這裏有Sassi文化遺產，還有附近的 Trulli。老實說，Sant' Angelo不好找到，reception的地點有改變過，我們費了好久時間，ㄧ直到現在，我們還是擔心會不會誤闖了ZTL？見到洞穴屋的第一個感覺只有「哇」，很興奮，也很驚奇，甚至馬上跟台灣的好友ㄧ家人FaceTime分享。裡面很乾淨，浴室的水柱也很強，真的要挑剔的是床和棉被都有小小粒的砂子，但這是難免的，洞穴屋不就是這樣嗎。飯店內沒有免費停車，這跟訂房時Hotels.com上寫的不同，代客泊車的費用記得是26歐。請記得提早一小時前order取車，因為動作真的很慢。洞穴屋的本身真的很棒，值得親自體驗。”

Situé à quelques minutes en voiture du centre historique de Matéra cet hôtel est idéal pour visiter la ville et les environs, tout en assurant un séjour au calme. Les salles et (certaines) chambres autour de la cour sont, pour parties, creusées dans la roche, ce qui donne un charme tout particulier à cet hôtel. Belle piscine. Petit déjeuner très copieux.”
