“This is one of the nicest cheaper hotels I've stayed out; the room is very clean and, at least on my off-season visit, very quiet. No road noise whatsoever. I can't speak to the breakfast, but there is a cold continental breakfast available, since it didn't begin until too late for me. For fellow travelers, I had a great dinner down the road at Brickyard Hollow Brewing Company.”

“I wish I had more time to enjoy the resort. I was there for an overnight place to sleep and only spent 8 hours in the room (11pm to 7am). It was quiet, but it was preseason. Breakfast was available, but we left before serving time at 7am. My only complaint was I couldn't get the AC to operate. The room was 75 F, was too warm to sleep. The day was warm, the night cooled down quickly. Opening the screened window and the door to the balcony did cool the room down to an acceptable level, but had……

“I like staying here. Yes, it's an older property and a bit worn. The price reflects that though. The other near by properties are much higher in price but it's hit and miss on cleanliness and quietness. But here at the Anchorage it's clean. It's quiet. The staff has always greeted me with a smile and are helpful. Whenever I have to come back here for meetings I will stay at the Rochester Anchorage.”

“2nd year in a row staying for my teen daughter's birthday, she loves it here! I will also say our king bed was very comfy, blankets just right, and great heating/cooling unit controls. My only suggestion would be to keep a small thing of ice cubes in the freezer, and a 2nd bedside table. Love this place, love these people! ”

“So we stayed one night at the hotel for our anniversary. Just to let you know when it says balcony it’s not private, but you did get a beautiful view of a river and the ocean. Lady at the desk was phenomenal. There was an inside pool and a pool outside in a hot tub. The hotel was obviously an older one, but everything was updated and clean. We had a refrigerator full size and a very clean bathroom. I think my only complaint would be that the pillows were very flat and not fluffy.”

“Coffee situation was unclear. There was the same pot brewed not touched since I checked in sat so that was concerning. No coffee or a place to clean that pot to make it and ice maker broken . The room was cozy and quiet and loved the convenient location. ”
