There are some good hikes near by and the lake is beautiful. We had trouble trying to fit everything into one weekend. While it’s a bit more basic in terms of amenities, the location is perfect for skiing and offers a peaceful getaway. Just a heads-up—the owner’s advice about needing a 4x4 in winter is definitely true—one of our family members in a Tesla couldn’t make it. The kids had a blast, and the Internet worked perfectly.……

“Beautiful home and convenient to the ski hill. Game room downstairs was great for the kids. Coffee bar was well stocked. Appreciated the snow shovel and salt, since it snowed while we were there. There is no dishwasher (listing says there is one); not a dealbreaker, but would’ve been nice to know in advance so we could bring paper plates and plastic utensils. The double doors in the kitchen and basement lock, but you’re able to pull them open them because there’s no latch to the door frame.……

“We had a great time. The house is spacious, very well equipped and clean. We enjoyed the ping pong, had mini tournaments every night. Beds are very comfy, TV is in every room. “This was a really fun house to stay in, perfect for our group which included 3 families--parents and kids. It had all we needed.A few things were challenging: the gated community the property is located in was a pain to get into and the vibe felt weird to us. It was not easy communicating with the management company when we needed to change the roster of who was coming. “Hubby and I wanted a cute getaway for thanksgiving weekend, and this little cabin was perfect. Secluded but still close enough to civilization. The hot tub was wonderful. We unfortunately never got to use the fire pit - just a bit too cold out for us. Space is great. There is a pretty close neighbor, but it didn’t impact our stay at all, and we basically forgot the house was there. The road to the cabin is unpaved so 4WD is probably a good idea. Very cute place ”

“This house was perfect for a quick weekend! There is a small beach by the lake that’s nice for a walk/morning coffee. It’s not a touristy area at all so it’s quiet and peaceful. I would say if you’re looking to be isolated it’s not necessarily for you, as it is in a community of houses, but if that doesn’t bother you it’s definitely still a great location! The host is extremely helpful and friendly. I had asked if there were board games and he literally went and bought some haha! GREAT place for……
