“We were in town visiting our son and DIL and new grandchild. Their apartment is too small for five extra adults so we found this nice home close by. The home has three nice bedrooms in a remodeled home. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The large living room was more than enough for us. The kitchen was clean and had what we needed for our meals. The only negative item was we couldn’t find any dishwashing detergent for the dishwasher. We had to wash by hand. Overall, the best……

“Property was the perfect stay for our family. Home is updated, clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a weekend or even longer trip to Southington. Location is super convenient to everything downtown and surrounding villages as well as Interstate 84 if you are traveling further about. Neighborhood is quaint and quiet. Highly recommend this property for a family trip to take in the sights and charm of Southington and the surrounding area. Perfect experience for us all around.”

“The upstairs kitchen may need some extra ceramic bowls and silverware. The hot water may need to be turned up, it was tepid at best. Jeff was more than helpful getting us situated and comfortable. Great neighborhood, and availability to groceries, restaurants, and the great brewery 2 minutes away. Great room for families for togetherness and privacy”

“we paid for early check in, however, seems as though it was not communicated and by the time we were able to get in the house, it was nearly the normal check-in time which turns out to be a waste of money for me..Also there were no instructions on turning on the heat which we were doing incorrectly and had to wait in a 45 deg house until someone came to adjust it- also we had to call about the fire place - and the recliner seats did not work”

“We enjoyed our stay, the dining table was perfect for family meals, the great room was fun to lounge in all together. I would suggest a simpler way to obtain the Wi-Fi password, perhaps a note on the fridge with rules about check our and garbage pick up too. It might be helpful to add some hooks or towel racks in the bathrooms and perhaps replace some of the doors in the bedroom, great room, bathrooms cluster with pocket doors to avoid crashing as people come and go. “We absolutely LOVED the Jefferson House. The pictures don’t do it justice. Everything was clean, new and perfectly country! The owners didn’t miss a thing- coffee station, laundry pods, bathroom amenities. It made it really easy to stay. ”
