“Waking up everyday to the view of the river and animals was stunning. The house had everything you could need and even provided toilet tree items if you had forgotten any. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Property was clean and cozy but the 2nd bathroom was in unheated basement (undisclosed) and the mattresses in all 3 bedrooms left something to be desired.”

“Everything was as listed! This is a beautiful property in a quaint neighborhood, right on the water. The house was spotless and had plenty of room to spread out for our party of 2 adults and 4 children. Thank you for a wonderful stay!”

“We enjoyed our stay, which included a bald eagle sighting. We rented kayaks from the owner, which was a nice way to explore the lake. The lake area by the dock was weedy, making it difficult to cast a fishing pole off the dock. The house was just as described with a lot of space for our family to sprawl out. The main shower, however, is small. We enjoyed the fire pit. Property also has a screened porch to allow time outdoors without mosquitoes. Very clean property!”

“Historic home was a perfect for our ski weekend. We comfortably housed 7 adults and the property was very clean and well stocked. The location was great with only a short drive to Granite Peak and many fun restaurants and taverns in Wausau. Gary is a responsive host. It snowed a couple inches one of the nights we were there and the driveway was cleared before 8 am the next morning! Highly recommend!”

“The house has very warm and inviting vibes. The backyard set up is great, we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and listening to the sounds of nature and the river running. Suzannah is very quick to respond to any questions. If I am ever going to be out this way again, this is where I'm staying. ”
