“Everything was wonderful. The property was beautiful. There were other people staying at the homes on site, but none of it was a distraction. Close enough to town to do excursions. The only thing I would add is maybe a screen door so that you could allow some extra fresh air in and light. Hosts were wonderful and easy to contact when we needed something. Recommend for a cozy gate away.”

“A great little restaurant is within walking distance, and there are lots of little shops nearby. The photos don't do the place justice. It is lovely. It is close to Wilson College and churches. “My boyfriend, dog, and I stayed at GSS this last weekend. The apartment is spotless, everything well marked and well thought out. Tammy was lovely, and responded quickly to all our questions. We greatly enjoyed walking around the property with our dog, checking out the horses and chickens and we caught a glimpse of a barn cat. “The location is quite secluded. It is attached to a large house. No one was around the entire weekend. Slightly creepy. The accommodations were clean but no coziness, tile flooring and fluorescent lighting. The bathroom felt very dormitory. When we arrived the house was dark and cold. It took a while for it to warm up. The house is on well water and the water stinks, BAD. It would be fun with a large group but it was just the two of us. It was fine for the weekend but I would not stay here……

“My best friend and I had an absolutely relaxing time here, I wish we had stayed longer! The property is very unique and exactly like the pictures. We spent so much of our time just sitting out back watching the water and enjoying the hot tub and porch swing (also, two of the trees out back are perfect for a hammock!). Owners were great communicators and access was super easy. Also the neighbors we ran into were so friendly! Highly recommend!”
