“The hosts were very nice, greeted us when we arrived, even though we arrived very late. They had some milk in the fridge for our morning tea and coffee which was very thoughtfull. After that first greeting we really didnt see much of them. Which was also very thoughtfull, we were in our little vacation world. They wer also very quick to respond to all communication. The cottage itself was very clean and very well kept. It had everything we needed. The directions for internet, trash removal, and……

“The pods themselves are great. Very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Did encounter an issue with the heating upon arrival. POD was so hot inside the surfaces were too hot to touch. Never had this happen before. Calls to office and emergency line were not answered. Had to drive around looking for someone and a nice staff, Kirsten, at the event facility helped me. Finally had to disconnect heating completely from pod. Unfortunately had to stay in the pod all night with the doors……

“The property had a few drawbacks during our 4-day stay in Scotland. While the overall experience was generally positive, there were a few areas that could use improvement: The beds were not very comfortable. They were two separate single beds pushed together rather than a proper double/queen bed. This caused the beds to shift and separate during the night, disrupting sleep. Additionally, the beds were at slightly different heights, which was awkward. Sound insulation from the ceiling was poor.……

“Comfortable cottage with roaring wood stove. We were surprised by a morning of snow which added to the beauty. Kim, our host was the best, helping us when needed, even suppling candles at last minute when a predicted windstorm threatened power outage which luckily never came. ”

“An excellent base for exploring the Central Belt of Scotland, with great links to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and more, the Studio is a comfortable and quiet place to spend time. Facilities are modern and were more than adequate for our needs.Downsides? Access might be tricky, up a flight of narrow metal stairs. The shower room/loo is very small, although the shower itself is a decent size. And there are no shops, pubs etc within quick walking distance, so a car/taxi is probably necessary. The……

“The Studio was so vomfortable and warm even had an electric blanket. Its so central to the town of Peebles everything is easy to get to.There is lots to see around the countryside . Julie was a wonderful host , I would definately stay again.”

“The cottage ticked all our boxes. Log fire, large kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, set in beautiful Scottish countryside, close to Edinburgh.”

“The cottage was amazing, everything we needed and more for a quiet weekend away as a family. The setting was beautiful. The cottage is situated on the site of a wedding venue but it is far enough away to not be disturbed or us not to infringe on the wedding celebrations taking place. A gem of a property that allowed us to just chill. We would love to return in the future.”
