“The cottage was amazing, everything we needed and more for a quiet weekend away as a family. The setting was beautiful. The cottage is situated on the site of a wedding venue but it is far enough away to not be disturbed or us not to infringe on the wedding celebrations taking place. A gem of a property that allowed us to just chill. We would love to return in the future.”

“The home is absolutely charming! Mary and Donald were so sweet and helpful, we felt very warmly welcomed. The room was a bit small, but the bathroom was large and comfortable! Breakfast was filling and fresh, it’s clear lots of love and care go into it. The only issue we ran into was frequency of buses and trains, but if you’re willing to walk for 20 minutes to the train station you can get into Edinburgh within an hour. ”

“I made a last minute booking at The Glen and enjoyed it. Before I checked in, they messaged me to see if I would need a supper reservation. The host met me when I arrived later, and my room was comfortable. I went and sat in the front room for a bit in the evening, and the host came out to turn on the gas fireplace for me. My room was quite cool (which I prefer) but there was a heater available in the closet. There were several menu options for breakfast (selected the night before) and it was……
