“The property itself is wonderful for a family vacation. Ample room for everyone with the library/entertainment area, the dining room, deck, covered swimming pool and hot tub and every room with its own bathroom. Patrick couldn't have been more helpful. It was like having your own Concierge. Very helpful coming up with activities and and recommendations. The staff were friendly and took care of everything. The breakfasts delicious and large. It all worked flawlessly. ”

“The villa has a great view of the lake and is extremely quiet. It’s secluded but still close to the main road and we felt like it was a safe area The directions provided by the owner are good but it is hard to find at night. The furniture, bedding and amenities are pretty old but we were not expecting 5 star. We loved Nuevo Arenal compared to the very touristy La Fortuna but there are of course more activities there. Overall very happy with the villa”

“The house is so cute and cozy! It has everything that you may need for your stay. From the kitchen to the different rooms, everything is set. It is private and the lake was indeed in front. It was clean and the communication with the owner was very easy. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, that is absolutely your place. We got rainy days which made it hard to enjoy the lake. It was also far from activities so anywhere we wanted to go took us at least an hour and a half. ”

“Absolutely beautiful property in a totally private and stunning location - the photos do not do this place justice!!! Our host was so welcoming and generous, with the remote location he suggested great takeaway deliveries and we had delicious pizzas ordered to our door, however there is also a local town within driving distance to eat out. The roads we understand will soon be updated as other properties are built on the same site, currently it would be easier to access the property with a……

“This was our first trip to Costa Rica and so happy with the home! The views were amazing, the hot tub perfect for those cool mornings and after the long hikes and did I mention the views? The house was great for three couples! The BBQ for perfect for the wonderful food we found the town of Nuevo Arenal had everything we needed within five minutes of the house! Thank you for a great stay!”

“Very nice home with outstanding balcony and view. Very private. Good WiFi. Afternoon sun gets the living area very hot. Did not use portable ac but would have if cold packs had been provided. Maybe consider a shade for that large window. Pillows smelled musty. Small ants in the kitchen were a problem. Overall great stay and I would recommend to friends ”
