“We were visiting family who were camping in the state forest. Due to health issues we decided to not camp but rather stayed at the comfort inn. It was relaxing but had the busiest breakfast I've seen at a hotel in a long time.”

“When I first got there and went to the check in desk, They had my paperwork laid out on their counter ready to go. No waiting. We were hoping for a ground floor room, but we were given a second story, no elevator. Not their fault, and they informed us that in the future we can call after making our reservations and tell them we need ground floor. We are both in our 60s and not the best shape so that will come in handy. The guy behind the desk did come running when he saw me coming down with bags……

“The hotel was staffed by competent, friendly Midwesterners and was a cut above other budget hotels we've stayed in recently. Both the pool and hot tub were working, and the breakfast at the on-site Perkins was lovely, offering 3 (free) options. The cheese house and antique mall share the same general parking area. A short drive in to Tomah takes you to a movie theatre, cute town, park, and lake with a lovely walking path along its shore. We will definitely return.”

“Staff was great! Always friendly, kind, and laughing with guests. Rooms were clean other than needing some vacuuming in the corner and edges. Our sink wouldn’t drain but it was minor. My son loved the pool and the playground. Worked great for us. Breakfast didn’t have much options but my son loved the waffle maker and there is a kwik trip next store. All in all not too bad!”

“Hotel is quiet, clean and a great place to stay on a road trip. We relaxed after a long day of working and driving. The whirlpool in our room was a nice bonus. Look forward to staying again.”

“This was a pleasant surprise. The woodsy, cabin vibes were great. We were treated to a drink token at the bar, which was totally unexpected. We enjoyed it very much. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good. it was a quick night stay so we didn't enjoy the other amenities like the pool. I would recommend. ”

“Clean, quiet and friendly staff. Eggs and sausage everyday along with the waffles and cereal. Pool and hot tub were nice also. Easy access off freeway but far enough it was quiet. ”
