“I’m new to VRBO, so unsure how it all worked as far as things needed before check out, etc. the owners were easy to contact and super helpful when we needed a new battery for the smoke detector, as it was chirping. Rooms were clean, smelled fresh, kitchen had plenty of supplies already for cooking- I had packed my own just in case, but didn’t need anything but my cookie sheet.. I might have overlooked theirs though. Porch was nice to hang out on and even it looked clean, minus a spiderweb that……

“My husband totally loved it. My dog was very comfortable as well. We set up his bed from home in front of the fireplace and he was out like a light. It was chilly during our stay but we took advantage of the location and walked just a short distance to a couple local bars/restaurants, did the river walk, checked out the farmers market next door and ventured to the casino that was only a few miles away. “The Holbrook Hotel is always a wonderful experience with big, beautiful rooms that are so clean and comfortable. The location is great for downtown and Averett University. Can walk across the street to Crema & Vine (lovely coffee and wine cafe) or down the street to delicious King Cropp for dinner. Also, parking is free and super easy! And they’re now pet friendly in one of the buildings! This hotel is my first choice in Danville. ”
