“Property was as described and matched photos. We decided on a weekend trip to Alamosa to see the dunes and reptile park. Great location for a base camp. Very dog friendly. It was classic Colorado spring and we had very high winds the first night/day and our power went off (entire region was out). Chris our host was prompt to respond and called power company to get an estimate of when it would return and offered to bring over a heater. Fortunately, power returned within 30 minutes so all was……

“The property is at a great location very close to the dunes, about 15 min drive. You can literally see it from your backyard. The property is exactly as listed and its very quiet if you're looking for the peace. The open space around is the best. My pup thoroughly enjoyed it. “We were very disappointed when we pulled up. There were 18 inch weeds surrounding the porch to get to the front door. Making it hard to get up on the porch. It is just a few miles from the Great Sand Dunes National Park that is simply awe inspiring and has fabulous sledding on the Dunes for the entire family. Excellent dining is about 20 minutes away in downtown Alamosa. The stars at night are incredible. We stayed in a Bin, which was less rustic than the name would imply.
