“The house was neat and quiet,each room had its own unique feeling of peace and relaxation. The country kitchen was awesome, and bar/family room was cozy. Enjoyed ping pong as well. The host was fabulous amazing intriguing and fun. We partied we saw the whole ranch, played with cows horses and dog. Unique location unique host. Must stay VRBO again. ”

“The Rustic Rook Resort is a fabulous new addition to the Yurt/Bin wave of alternative to hotel stays. It is just a few miles from the Great Sand Dunes National Park that is simply awe inspiring and has fabulous sledding on the Dunes for the entire family. Excellent dining is about 20 minutes away in downtown Alamosa. The stars at night are incredible. We stayed in a Bin, which was less rustic than the name would imply. It was perfect for my husband and I, and our dog. We wouldn't hesitate……

“Bed is not balanced but it is cozy annd warm even in winter with the extra heaters, and that is all part of the experience.”

“The whole property was clean, all beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked with all necessities to cook any meal. The pantry had supplies to which we added a foam cooler for the next guests. Would stay here again. ”

“Gorgeous location with incredible views from every window. This home is well stocked and has excellent bedding, beds and pillows. Furniture is nice and comfortable. The hot tub, patio and patio furniture is great too. It is immaculately clean, which we appreciated with 2 -1year olds. We’ve never stayed in a cleaner VRBO, truly spotless!! The one and only thing I would change, adding window blinds. None of the windows have blinds, including the bathrooms. I understand the views shouldn’t be……
