“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Overlook! Home looks recently renovated (lots of nice windows) & views are wonderful from every room of house! Two full baths (including one upstairs) so all we needed. Very clean & nicely decorated. Conveniently located to everything. Lily Bay State Park nearby & no one there this time of year so great for walking/hiking! Hope to return in Summer months to enjoy that view as million dollar for sure!”

“We loved it with enough space to stretch out. My grandson played in the snow the whole weekend while everyone else went ice fishing and on the snowmobiles right out the door. The only thing we missed was a firepit outside. We had trouble opening the doors but called and someone was able to help us. ”

“Our stay was great! The home was so cute and cozy. We loved all the options of places to crash at night. The kids enjoyed the game room and the jar of candy on the island. Def stayed warm throughout our stay besides in the game room. ”

“This was the second time I’ve stayed here. The first was last summer with my son for an ATV trip and this latest one I was by myself to visit family, friends and to do some snowmobiling. It’s the perfect place for all these activities. Right on the ATV/snowmobile trails and about 25 minutes from Moosehead Lake. The cabin was super clean and well stocked with the basic amenities and much more. Heidi was super responsive to my communications and very accommodating. I would highly recommend staying……

“Wonderful cozy cabin and beautiful location. However living room accommodations were very uncomfortable. Day bed was not appropriate as a couch and chair springs are shot. But still a nice place and would stay again. ”

“Great stay in a look cabin located on the lake. Well equipped, very clean, convenient iocsted to lake. Town of Greenville and other great locations. Plan to stay there again next summer. ”

“A group of us go snowmobiling every year and we decided to go Moosehead Lake this year. Home was exactly as pictured. Very comfortable and clean. Kitchen well stocked with everything you would need. Beds were super comfortable. Trail located right behind the house after short ride through woods. Parking was more than enough for trucks and trailers. Would definitely go back. Host was extremely easy to reach with any questions. Host even contacted us when my husband left his wedding band behind. ”

“Overall this property is beautiful during the day and has the potential for some amazing trips! Definitely would plan more than a 2 night stay to make it worth while, was shocked at how stocked the kitchen was with cooking utensils. “We had to share the house with big black ants. One of our company found ants in their bed. However, the management was responsive to a toilet issue, came right way and fixed. The listing was not accurate in the game room condition. The foosball table is broken, and the pool sticks are unusable, and apparently from past reviews will not be replaced anytime soon. (So no pool either) The fire table is unusable as well. It is a ride to the water, and that is the only way to cool down as the house……
